piperdactyl: I avoid drawing humans for the most part, but after my first year in animation, I’ve learnt that not understanding anatomy will be my downfall. And it’s kind-of limiting anyways, I can’t JUST draw monsters. So I’m going to be trying more human beings now, even if it bores me for the most part. I started off today with drawing a self-portrait in my stylized form that I usually reserve for creatures. It’s sorta okay I guess, though I had idiotically inversed the hand in the end and only noticed when it was pointed out. (You can see the previous disaster below) Lesson learnt: anatomy practice is not something to skimp out on. Click here to see the mistake :P The fixed version looks great though. C: Love your ace wristband and all the tiny details.
